LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF GATES -Notice is hereby given that the 2026 Town and County taxes for the Town of Gates, New York, may be paid to Sarah Lobene, Receiver of Taxes at the Gates Town Hall, Town Clerk's / Tax Receiver's Office located at 1605 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624 on or before February 10, 2026 without a charge of interest. Said office will be open for receiving taxes from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Office hours will also be extended on Tuesday, February 10th 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. All such taxes remaining unpaid after February 10, 2026 shall be deemed unpaid and shall be subject to the following penalties: During the period of February 11 to the last day of February, one and a half percent (1.5%) an additional one- and one-half percent (1.5%) for each month thereafter until return of unpaid taxes is made by the Receiver to the County Treasurer pursuant to the law. Take further notice that pursuant to the provision of law, the Tax Roll of the Town of Gates will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Monroe on the first day of June 2026.
