NOTICE CITY OF ROCHESTER BOND ORDINANCES -Bond ordinances, the summaries of which are published herewith, have been adopted January 28, 2026 and the validity of the obligations authorized by such ordinances may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the CITY OF ROCHESTER, in the County of Monroe, New York, is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the publication of this Notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution. No. 2026 - 10 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $705,000 Bonds of said City to finance the Port Terminal Building Rooftop Unit Replacements Project Object or purpose: the Port Terminal Building Rooftop Unit Replacements Project consisting of strategic removals, refurbishments and/or replacements of rooftop air-handling units at the William A. Johnson Jr. Terminal Building at the Port of Rochester Estimated maximum cost: $814,000 Period of probable usefulness: 15 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $705,000 Ord. No. 2025 - 14 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $317,000 Bonds of said City to finance the costs of the Maplewood Branch Library Expansion Project Object or purpose: the Maplewood Branch Library Expansion Project at 1113 Dewey Avenue, including renovation of the existing library building, an addition to the west side of the building, and additional off-street parking spaces Estimated maximum cost: $8,511,200 Period of probable usefulness: 15 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $317,000 Ord. No. 2025 - 16 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $1,375,000 Bonds of said City to finance the Bull's Head Revitalization Project Object or purpose: the Bull's Head Revitalization Project that includes new street construction, pavement reconstruction and rehabilitation, milling and resurfacing, realignment of intersecting streets, curbs, sidewalks, street lighting improvements, sewer main extensions, catch basins, manholes, adjustment of utility appurtenances, landscaping, the addition of bicycle facilities and other various improvements on the north side of West Main Street bounded by Brown Street, Essex Street, Silver Street, York Street and Algonquin Terrace; along West Main Street from York Street to Churchlea Place; along West Avenue from Algonquin Terrace to West Main Street; along Chili Avenue from Ardmore Street to West Main Street; and along Genesee Street from Clifton Street to West Main Street Estimated maximum cost: $16,648,841.43 Period of probable usefulness: 15 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $1,375,000 Ord. No. 2025 - 17 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $475,000 Bonds of said City to finance water service improvements associated with the Bull's Head Revitalization Project Object or purpose: water service improvements associated with the Bull's Head Revitalization, including water main installation, water services and hydrants, on the north side of West Main Street bounded by Brown Street, Essex Street, Silver Street, York Street and Algonquin Terrace; along West Main Street from York Street to Churchlea Place; along West Avenue from Algonquin Terrace to West Main Street; along Chili Avenue from Ardmore Street to West Main Street; and along Genesee Street from Clifton Street to West Main Street Estimated maximum cost: $1,216,971.96 Period of probable usefulness: 40 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $475,000 Ord.
