TOWN OF PERINTON, NEW YORK LEGAL NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM -NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Perinton, County of Monroe, State of New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on April 6, 2026, duly adopted a resolution entitled: "Resolution Reaffirming Prior Authorizations for Budget Transfers Subject to Permissive Referendum." AN ABSTRACT of such resolution is as follows: The Town Board of the Town of Perinton has reaffirmed and re-authorized the expenditure and transfer of funds from several Town Reserve Funds to support various 2026 Town operations, equipment purchases, and capital projects. The specific transfers authorized are: 1. $4,500.00 from the Parks Improvement Fund (70) for Whitebrook Nature Area Boardwalk grant writing services. 2. $165,000.00 in total from the IT Reserve (50) ($155,000 to upgrade the General Fund's IT infrastructure and $10,000 for new Recreation Programming Software. 3. $154,500.00 from the Rec & Parks Equipment Reserve (54) for the acquisition of equipment for the Recreation and Park Fund, 4. $100,000.00 from the Highway Part-Town DPW Equipment Reserve (56) for the acquisition of equipment for the Highway Part-Town Fund. 5. $248,400.00 from the Highway General DPW Equipment Reserve (53) for the acquisition of equipment for the Highway General Fund. 6. $10,000.00 from the Sewer Equipment Reserve (55) for the acquisition of equipment for the Joint Sewer Fund. Said resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Article 7 of the New York State Town Law and Section 6-c of the General Municipal Law. A petition to the Town Board to protest against such resolution and requesting that it be submitted to the qualified electors of the Town of Perinton for their approval or disapproval must be filed with the Town Clerk within thirty (30) days after the date of the adoption of such resolution.
