NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF
TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
AND HEARINGS OF COMPLAINTS
-(Pursuant to Sections 506 & 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Brighton, County of Monroe, will complete the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year on May 1, 2026, and that a copy will be available as of May 1, 2026, on the town's web site and in the Assessment Office at the temporary location of Brighton Town Hall, 680 Westfall Rd, where it may be seen and examined by any interested party until May 26, 2026 between the hours of 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday.
The Assessor, or her designee, will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on the following dates and times: Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00AM - 1:00PM; Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 9:30AM - 1:30PM; Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 9:30AM- 1:30PM; Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 26, 2026, between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM in the Brighton Town Hall to hear complaints in relation to assessments and act on the applications of any persons believing to be aggrieved. Applications and informational booklets will be available in the Assessor's Office on May 1, 2026, and applications must be completed and filed with the Board of Assessment Review on or before May 26, 2026, at 8:00PM.
