LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF PERINTON -NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 13, 2026, the Town Board of the Town of Perinton, Monroe County, New York, duly adopted a resolution, which is subject to a permissive referendum pursuant to Town Law. ABSTRACT: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE PERINTON PARK COURTS MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND TRANSFER OF FUNDS The Town Board has authorized a contract with Super Seal Sealcoating for a comprehensive maintenance and improvement project at Perinton Park. This project includes the transition of existing facilities to a configuration of four tennis courts, six pickleball courts, and one basketball court. The scope of work involves asphalt overlay, replacement of divider fencing, installation of sports posts, nets, and hoops, and professional acrylic resurfacing. The Town Board further authorized the transfer of an amount not to exceed $455,000 from the Parks Improvement Fund (70) to provide for the total project cost, including a 10% contingency for unexpected expenses. PERIOD FOR FILING PETITION Pursuant to Article 7 of the Town Law, this resolution is subject to a permissive referendum. A petition requesting that the matter be submitted to the qualified electors of the Town for their approval must be filed with the Town Clerk within thirty (30) days after the adoption of said resolution.
