NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE MONROE COUNTY LEGISLATURE -PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that pursuant to Section A4-5 of the Monroe County Administrative Code, a public hearing will be held by the County Legislature of the County of Monroe on August 11, 2026 at 6:16 P.M. in the County Legislative Chambers in the County Office Building, Rochester, New York, on a proposed local law (Intro. No. 283 of 2026) entitled "AMENDING CHAPTER 357 OF THE MONROE COUNTY CODE TO PROVIDE A TAX EXEMPTION FOR SURVIVING SPOUSES OF POLICE OFFICERS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY." Copies of this proposed local law are available for examination in the office of the Clerk of the County Legislature and Monroe County's Website.
