ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Bid # 25-2569 GREECE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT EARLY LEARNING CENTER STORAGE ADDITIONSealed proposals for the Greece Central School District, "ELC Storage Addition" in accordance with Drawings, Project Manual, and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by Popli Design Group, 555 Penbrooke Dr, Penfield, NY 14526, will be received by the Greece Central School District at the Transportation and Support Services Facility, Planning Department, 1790 Latta Road, Rochester, New York 14612 until 11:00am local time on November 13, 2025 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in Conference Room 170A. Bidders must enter the building at Door #2 where they will be directed to the Planning Department. Bids submitted by mail or by courier service should be sent to Greece Central School District, Planning Department, 1790 Latta Rd, Rochester, NY 14612, Attention: David Phelps, AIA. Please note that bids that are mailed to the District will not arrive directly to the recipient but will go through our central mailing department. The District is not responsible for bids that are mailed and are not received by the bid time. The Instructions to Bidders, Form of Proposal, General Conditions and Supplements, Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the District Planning Department, 1790 Latta Road, Suite 101, Rochester, NY 14612. Drawings and Specifications will be available after 12:00pm on October 23, 2025, at Popli Design Group, 555 Penbrooke Dr, Penfield, NY 14526. Deposit shall be in the form of (1) $100.00 check per set made payablle to Greece Central School District. Bidders may pick up Bid documents at Popli Design Group, otherwise provide a separate, non-refundable check of $50.00 per set for shipping and handling made payable to Popli Design Group. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided in the documents, prepared and set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the bidder. Under General Municipal Law 102(2), the Owner shall return the entire amount of the deposit submitted by each successful and unsuccessful bidder whose bid is accompanied by required bid security, upon the proper return of one set of plans and specifications. If an unsuccessful bidder obtains more than one set of plans, the Owner, upon the successful return of all additional sets, shall also return an amount equal to the deposit for one of the additional sets of plans and specifications less the cost of reproducing the set. If a nonbidder properly returns all sets of the plans and specifications, the Owner shall return an amount equal to the deposit for one set less the cost of reproducing the set. Sets to be returned to Popli Design Group. The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the school district. There will be no Pre-bid conference, however if bidders would like to visit the project site, please contact Tyler Gage to schedule with the District. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be submitted by each Bidder with their Bid as a guarantee that in the case of the contract being awarded to them, they will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and that Bidder shall not withdraw their Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. Attention of the Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract as well as to other provisions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
