NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE MONROE COUNTY LEGISLATURE -PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that pursuant to Section A4-5 of the Monroe County Administrative Code, a public hearing will be held by the County Legislature of the County of Monroe on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 6:28 P.M. in the County Legislative Chambers in the County Office Building, Rochester, New York, on a proposed Local Law (Intro. No. 2 of 2026) entitled "Waiver of Residency Requirement for Monroe County Surveyor." Copies of this proposed local law are available for examination in the office of the Clerk of the County Legislature and Monroe County's Website. This proposed legislation will allow the Monroe County Surveyor to reside not only in Monroe County, but in any other adjoining County within New York State.
