NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
-PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS of the TOWN OF BRIGHTON, Monroe County, at a meeting to be held at 680 Westfall Road, Empire State University (temporary home of the Brighton Town Hall), Rochester, New York, 14620 on Wednesday March 4, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. Written comments may be submitted by mail to Anthony Vallone, AICP, Secretary, 2300 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618 or email: anthony.vallone@townofbrighton.org. Applications and documents subject to public hearing will be posted on the town's website 24 hours prior to the meeting.
ZB-26-01 Application of Elizabeth Welsh, owner of property located at 94 Fairmeadow Drive, for an Area Variance from Section 205-2 to allow for a 31.8 ft front yard setback in lieu of the 40 ft. minimum allowed by code. All as described in application and plans on file.
ZB-26-02 Application of Contractor Hussain, applicant, and Matthew Dicker owner of property located at1266 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road, for a Sign Variance from Section 207-32 (B), for the installation of a free-standing double-side post and panel sign 48 square ft. in size, being 6 ft. in height x 8 ft. in width, to include the address number and business identification sign with name where no freestanding sign is permitted by code. ZB-26-03 Application of Richard Mauser, applicant, and Mehmet and Maryn Karahan owners of property located at 3265 Elmwood Avenue, for an Area Variance from Section 205-2 to allow for a 12 ft. side yard setback in lieu of the 18 ft. minimum allowed by code, and an Area Variance from 209-10 for a livable floor area of 3,513 sq. ft. in lieu of a 3,146 sq. ft. maximum allowed by code. ZB-26-04 Application of Christina Kirivong, applicant, and Timothy and Johanna Mahan, owner of property located at 27 Del Rio Drive for an Area Variance from Section 205-2 to allow for a 33.85 ft. front yard setback in lieu of the 40 ft. minimum and a 27.92 ft. side yard setback in lieu of a 33.31 ft. minimum allowed by code. ZB-26-05 Application of Vincent Randazzese, agent, and Andrea Murphy, owner of property located at 78 Mayflower Drive for an Area Variance from Section 205-2 to allow for a 4.7 ft. side yard setback in lieu of the 8.3 ft. minimum allowed by code. All as described in application and plans on file.
