LEGAL NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law) HEARING OF COMPLAINTS -NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Town of Gates, County of Monroe, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Assessor at Gates Town Hall, 1605 Buffalo Road, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Tuesday in May.The Tentative Assessment Roll is available: May 1--May 26, Monday-Friday 10:00am-3:00pm Thursday, May 14, 6:00pm-8:00 pm and Saturday, May 16 8:00 am Noon.The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, May 26 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Gates Town Hall, in said Town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, in the application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved. Applications and informational booklets on filing a complaint will be available in the Assessment Office on May 1, 2026 or on the town website www.townofgates.gov.
