Concrete Removal/Replacement Project
NOTICE FOR BIDS
-Notice is hereby given that sealed bids are sought, according to specifications of a contract to be let by the Brighton Fire District, Brighton, New York, hereinafter referred to as the "District" for the Concrete Removal/Replacement Project on the front apron at Station #2, 2605 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, New York, 14610. This active fire station operates two units (Engine 302 and Squad 3027) and this project affects the entire apron in front of the fire station. The District will coordinate with the successful vendor to maintain service delivery to the community from this fire station.
That sealed proposals will be received on behalf of the District by its Assistant Fire Chief, Steve Schalabba, at Station #1, 3100 East Avenue, Rochester, New York 14610, on or before 3:00 p.m. prevailing time, on April 29, 2026 and said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 5:00 p.m. on that date at Brighton Fire Station #1, 3100 East Avenue, Rochester, New York 14610.
Bids must be in writing and in accordance with forms furnished by said Assistant Fire Chief. The forms, instructions to bidders, and a copy of the specifications may be obtained from the District at the above address between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. prevailing time, beginning on April 15, 2026.
Proposals shall be made and received under the following terms and conditions:
1. The District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
2. All bids shall be for the total contract, and no partial bids will be accepted. Alternates to specifications allowed if so stated in bid.
3. The District will have up to 30 days to accept the bid.
4. Upon acceptance of the bid, the successful bidder shall execute a contract acceptable in form and substance to the District in accordance with its bid.
