NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
-PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION of the TOWN OF BRIGHTON, Monroe County, at a meeting to be held at 680 Westfall Road, Empire State University (temporary home of Brighton Town Hall) on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at 7:15 P.M. Written comments (email preferred) may be submitted to Smarlin Espino, Secretary via email at Smarlin.espino@brightonny.gov or by US mail to Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. Applications subject to public hearings and the documents to be considered by the Board will be available for review on the town's website no later than twenty-four hours prior to the meeting (to the extent practicable) for the purpose of considering, modifying, approving, or disapproving the following:
HP-26-1 Application of Jerry Ludwig, owner of the property located at 2940 East Avenue, tax number 138.05-1-71, for a certificate of appropriateness to renovate existing terrace and minor site improvements. All as described on application and documents on file.
The Historic Preservation Commission, at said time and place, will hear all persons in support of such matters or any objections thereto. Those individuals needing a sign language interpreter must notify the Receptionist at Town Hall, 585-784-5250, at least 72 hours in advance that they are in need of such accommodation.
