NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE MONROE COUNTY LEGISLATURE -PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held by the County Legislature of the County of Monroe on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 6:15 P.M., in the County Legislative Chambers at the County Office Building, Rochester, New York, relating to the proposed 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program, which is a six-year plan of capital projects containing a description of each project and the estimated cost and proposed method of financing for each project. Copies of the proposed 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program of Monroe County are available for examination in the office of the Clerk of the County Legislature. The Capital Improvement Program for the six-year period includes projects designed to address aging infrastructure while at the same time ensuring that Monroe County continues to grow and expand its job base and quality of life. Projects contained in the program are intended to improve and modernize public buildings, improve critical sewer and transportation infrastructure, and continue investments in voting equipment, public safety, the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport, the County Parks System, the Monroe County Library System, the Monroe Community Hospital, and Monroe Community College.
