The dredging will occur from the dock structure to, but not extending into, the USACE navigable channel; and within regulated adjacent area of a NYSDEC Freshwater Wetland. The purpose of the dredging action is to allow for the safe and continued use of the loading dock by commercial vessels. Approximately 515 cubic yards of material will be placed in an established open water disposal area, while approximately 400 cubic yards of material will be stockpiled before transport to a permitted landfill.
