The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Room of the George Eastman Museum at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026. Please meet at the front desk of the Thomas Tischer Visitor Center. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents and must be accompanied by references of similar projects and a bid security in the form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Bank Check in the amount of (10%) ten percent of the bid amount. Work must be performed by contractors with no less than five years' successful experience in completion of similar projects for state, national, or locally registered landmarks. Contractors must submit a list of completed projects, including name, address, owner, and consultant . (Similar projects to be listed on the Bid Form). The completion date for this project is May 28, 2027. This project is funded in part by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of 1993. Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts.
