NOTICE CITY OF ROCHESTER BOND ORDINANCES -Bond ordinances, the summaries of which are published herewith, have been adopted August 26, 2026 and the validity of the obligations authorized by such ordinances may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the CITY OF ROCHESTER, in the County of Monroe, New York, is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the publication of this Notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution. No. 2026 - 264 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $625,000 Bonds of said City to finance a Parcel 5 Phased Implementation project Object or purpose: Parcel 5 Phased Implementation project to enhance the approximately 0.93-acre public event space located at 275 East Main Street with improvements including but not limited to: electrical infrastructure including power points along Andrew Langston Way and Cortland Street; a power panel to support event staging and other activities; security cameras and Wi-Fi infrastructure; and ground hydrants for lawn irrigation, event use and maintenance Estimated maximum cost: $977,646 Period of probable usefulness: 5 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $625,000 Ord. No. 2026 - 267 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $850,000 Bonds of said City to finance the costs of the Blue Cross Arena Bowl Seating Replacement Project -- Phase 1 Object or purpose: the Blue Cross Arena Bowl Seating Replacement Project -- Phase 1, located at 100 Exchange Boulevard, consisting of the replacement of approximately 1,692 seats and cup holders in sections 105 through 108 and 122 through 125, the removal and disposal of old seating, and establishing a 5 percent attic stock of replacement components for future repairs Estimated maximum cost: $850,000 Period of probable usefulness: 5 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $850,000 Ord. No. 2026 - 268 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $600,000 Bonds of said City to finance the Gardiner Firehouse Roof Replacement Project Object or purpose: the Gardiner Firehouse Roof Replacement Project, including the replacement of the roof and the installation of a new vapor barrier and insulation for the firehouse at 57 Gardiner Avenue Estimated maximum cost: $655,000 Period of probable usefulness: 15 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $600,000 Ord. No. 2026 - 269 Amending Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York Object or purpose: to reduce by $50,000 to a new total of $950,000 the amount of bonds authorized by Ordinance No. 2024-278 to finance a portion of the costs of the 2025 LED Upgrades and Pole Replacement Project replacing high pressure sodium post top luminaires with full cutoff light emitted diode ("LED") luminaires on the street lights located along the street segments specified on an attached project location list Estimated maximum cost: $950,000 Period of probable usefulness: 3 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $950,000 Ord. No. 2026 - 270 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $550,000 Bonds of said City to finance 2026 LED Upgrades and Pole Replacement Project Object or purpose: the 2026 LED Upgrades and Pole Replacement Project to replace the post top luminaires with full cutoff light emitted diode ("LED") dark sky compliant luminaires, spot replacement of fiberglass poles and installation of integrated wireless Signify Interact sensors and controllers on the street lights located along the street segments specified on an attached project location list Estimated maximum cost: $550,000 Period of probable usefulness: 10 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $550,000 Ord. No. 2026 - 271 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $3,000,000 Bonds of said City to finance the acquisition of fifteen General Fund Motor Equipment items Object or purpose: the acquisition of the following items of General Motor Equipment to be operated city-wide in support of the Special Services, Forestry and Parks and Building Operations functions of the Department of Environmental Services: 4 ten-wheel dump trucks, 3 six-wheel dump trucks, 1 loader, 2 medium duty chassis dump body trucks, 1 Packmor leaf truck, 3 skid steers, and 1 tractor for mowing and grounds maintenance Estimated maximum cost: $3,000,000 Period of probable usefulness: 15 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $3,000,000 Ord. No. 2026 - 272 Bond Ordinance of the City of Rochester, New York authorizing the issuance of $2,264,700 Bonds of said City to finance the acquisition of ten Local Works Motor Equipment items Object or purpose: the acquisition of the following items of Local Works Motor Equipment to be operated city-wide in support of the Special Services and Street Maintenance functions of the Department of Environmental Services: 3 six-wheel dump trucks with plows, 1 medium duty chassis dump body truck, 1 medium duty chassis dump body truck with plow, 1 skid steer, 1 snow buggy, 2 street sweepers, and 1 utility body truck Estimated maximum cost: $2,264,700 Period of probable usefulness: 15 years Amount of obligations to be issued: $2,264,700 Hazel L.
